Christchurch earthquake

christchurch earthquake               Tony Turua

The second quake to hit Christchurch in the last six months may have been smaller in magnitude than the first, but recovery this time promises to be a laboured struggle for the city's people.
Most have lost belongings, some their entire homes, or worse than that, a loved one. The garden city has shocked all of the people in christchurch, just when you thought the worst of it had passed well look again it begins  to move on.
It all started with an magnitude of 6.3 earthquake.Watching the news everyday hurts you so much seeing damages house and so on. On the day when it happen there were 76 dead and now it came to this day 94 are dead. The city from Tuesday's deadly aftershock is much greater than that caused by the 7.1 magnitude quake which caused billions of dollars in damage in September. But Tuesday's earthquake at 6.3 on the Richter scale was not as severe as the September 4 quake, but was shallower and closer to the centre of the city, so its impact was far greater. but Damage caused on Tuesday was far more widespread and individual house damage far more severe than it had been in September. But apart from massive damage to some commercial and historic buildings, residential houses had moved and twisted on their foundations. Also Many roads were impassable and would need to be completely rebuilt.
so right now emotions just keeps rising to the surface that is the hardest thing everyone is doing right now in christchurch so to everyone out there hope to be alright and hope to all the people out there that is not found stay where you are help is coming.

HOW CAN GAMES SAVE THE WORLD

The lady in the video that we watched in class last week, about gamers was basically trying to say that if we tried so hard in life as we play in the game we would be able to do anything. All the people in the world used the attitude they use when they are gaming to actual situations or problems in real life we would accomplish a lot more as humans.

PRINTER PROBLEM?

PAPER JAM : When the printer says it is jammed it means there is a piece of paper stuck in the printer . To fix this you need to open the printer and feed the paper through till it is dislodged.

LOAD A4 PAPER :Load A4 paper: When you want to load A4  paper you need to set the tray to the A4 size. Then you need to set the printer up for A4.

Printer Offline:When the printer the printer says it is of line it means you wont be able to print. To fix this you need to restart the printer.

O.S- APP RELATIONSHIP

HOW DO THEY RELATE?
THE USER TALKS TO THE APP AND ALSO THE USER INTERFACES WITH THE APP.
OS COMMUNICATES WITH THE HARDWARE. E.G PRINTING. THE USER SENDS PRINT TO WORD, WORD SENDS THE PRINT TO THE OS AND THE OS SENDS THE PRINT TO THE HARDWARE.
